Gluten Free Meatballs

This recipe can be made with ground turkey or ground beef… your choice.

  • 3 T. olive oil
  • 1/2 large carrot, grated (I have been known to use the whole carrot)
  • salt to taste
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey,
  • 1/2 cup finely ground bread crumb, gluten free
  • 1 egg
  • 2 t. ground sage
  • ground pepper to taste

Mix all the above ingredients together.  Mold into meatball shapes.

Fry up in a skillet with enough oil that the meatball won’t stick.  Every few minutes, roll the meatball so that another surface can be cooked. Do this until all the surfaces on all the meatballs is browned.  Remove from the fry pan into a baking pan.  Put the meatballs in a 300 degree oven until the pasta is ready (about 20-30 minutes).  This will cook the meatballs on the inside.

When the spaghetti has been drained. Take the meatball out of the oven.  Serve!
